John founded Airplanes & Coffee in 2020 to make aviation more welcoming and accessible. The reach is meaningful—but the real story is thousands of pilots, families, students, airports and volunteers brought together by a shared love of flight. Every event, discovery flight, scholarship and community program has been accomplished by unpaid volunteers.
